How to Apply
If you are an international higher degree research applicant, please go to ACU Study Research for information on the application process and to lodge your application.
If you are a domestic higher degree research applicant, please read and follow the instructions below.
Check your Eligibility
You need to meet the eligibility criteria for admission to a research course at ACU. This information can be found in section 4 ‘Eligibility for Admission to a Research Higher Degree’ of the Higher Degree Research Regulations.
Complete an Application for Admission
If you are a domestic applicant, complete the Domestic Application for Higher Degree Research Candidature / Postgraduate Research Scholarship (Word, 170KB).
If you are an international applicant, complete the international online application form available at http://www.acu.edu.au/international/study_research.
Organise your Confidential Referee Reports
You must provide two referee reports with your application. After you have downloaded the Confidential Referee’s Report form you will need to complete section 1 before forwarding it to your referees to complete the remainder of the form. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that your referees return the reports to Graduate Research (firstname.lastname@example.org). Your application will not be considered until two referee reports have been received.
